Scenic value
Elnoka Wildland is a prominent wild greenspace bordering Trione-Annadel State Park, a 5,000-acre preserve with 45 miles of walking, hiking, horseback riding, and biking trails. Visible from the park, Channel Drive, and CA Highway 12, Elnoka is seen daily by hundreds of commuters traveling this designated State Scenic Highway, with Trione-Annadel SP providing a dramatic natural backdrop.
Elnoka is studded with mature valley oaks and live oaks. This tree in winter, shows off its gnarly branch structure.
Gorgeous sunsets over Elnoka Wildland are almost routine during late summer and fall.
